VIP Rewards FAQs

How can I join the VIP Rewards loyalty program?

You can become a member by creating an online account and opting-in to VIP Rewards, or by joining at your local House store.

Do I get a membership card?

Previously, customers did receive a card (so if you have one, it's totally fine to use), but our new VIP Rewards program operates entirely via email, so all rewards are sent to your inbox. We encourage all VIP members to set up an account online. It takes only a few minutes and allows you to track your points balance and rewards in real time.

How can I see what my rewards are?

You will receive rewards offers directly to your inbox. You can also check your points balance and see ‘secret VIP offers’ when you log into your account. Your points balance is also printed on your receipt when you shop in-store.

How do I earn rewards?

You'll start receiving rewards as soon as you sign up. In fact, you receive 100 points to get started. Every dollar you spend with us earns you a point. Once you have earned 500 points, you can redeem as cash to spend in our stores.

Do I get rewards instantly?

Please note the visibility timing and ability to redeem the rewards in your account will vary, based on if you shop instore or online. You should see the points within one hour after your purchase.

Can I back-date rewards for recent purchases?

For customers who have purchased either in-store or online recently, we do not currently offer the option to back-date rewards.

Do reward points expire?

Yes, reward points expire after 12 months. We'll notify you via email before your points expire.

Is there a fee to join VIP Rewards?

There is no fee; joining our program is free for everyone. Join now and enjoy the benefits!

Will you notify me when I'm about to earn a reward?

Absolutely! Rewards come in many forms. You will receive exclusive discount offers as well as notifications on points earned. We'll send you an email notifying you of special offers or when you're close to earning a reward, adding to the excitement.

How do I claim my reward?

You will be sent an email advising you have a VIP Reward. Instructions are given on how to claim when you shop. Don’t forget, you can also see your points balance on your receipt when you shop in-store. Keep an eye on your email for updates!

How are vouchers redeemed?

Vouchers are sent to your email, which can be used in any House store or at House online to redeem.

Can I redeem my Rewards Voucher in a House – Bed & Bath store?

We regret that you cannot redeem VIP reward Vouchers at physical House Bed & Bath Stores at this time, but we are working hard to make this feature available to you in the near future. You of course, can use the voucher online house.com.au for any of the soft textiles. Additionally a team member in House Bed & Bath Stores can assist you to purchase online and apply your voucher redemption.

What can I redeem vouchers on?

Vouchers can be redeemed on all products in our store or online, including sale items, unless specified otherwise in the reward details. Gift Cards are excluded.

How many points do you need to redeem?

You need to accumulate 500 points to redeem them as money to spend via your issued voucher . That means you will be issued with $20.00 to spend in stores or online. Your voucher is a one time use only. You must equal or exceed the total amount of the single voucher in one transaction. No change can be given. All 500 points will be reset to zero. If you have multiple vouchers available, you can use two vouchers on a single transaction or on your next purchase each month. A limit of two vouchers within a single month applies. Happy shopping.

Is an email address necessary for VIP Rewards membership?

Yes, as all benefits, including rewards and exclusive offers, are delivered via email.

Is my personal data safe?

Yes, your information is secure. You can read how your information is secured by going to our Privacy Policy.

What should I do if my email or personal details change?

You can update your information online via your account or at any of our stores or by contacting our customer service.

What kinds of emails/rewards will I receive?

You'll receive a variety of rewards such as exclusive member discount offers, secret flash code discounts, invitations to exclusive events, and even double point-earning shopping occasions.

How can I stop receiving emails?

You can unsubscribe anytime by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ link in any of our emails. Alternatively, you can log into your online account and go to account preferences remove yourself from email. However, this will mean you will not receive any further discounts or notifications on rewards that may be owing to you.

Has your VIP Rewards program changed recently?

Our rewards program has been operating for many years, but only recently have our online and physical stores enjoyed enhanced visibility, making it easier for you to see your earnings wherever you choose to shop. Plus, we are in the process of building a new look VIP Rewards community. We are super excited to tell you all about our new supercharged offers, treats, surprises, and activities. There are lots of exciting updates in store, so stay tuned.

How do i opt-out of VIP Rewards?

You can opt-out anytime by logging into your online account and navigating to account preferences. From here you will be able to untick your VIP Rewards membership to opt-out of the loyalty program.
